1st ML International Training Course
“Hair Biology & Translational Hair Research In A Nutshell”
7th-8th June 2019, Münster
Monasterium Laboratory’s first ever international training course, held at both Hotel Schloss Wilkinghege and Monasterium Laboratories in Münster on June 7-8th, attracted 26 international participants, including advanced researchers and industry scientists.
The course, led by Prof. Dr. med. Ralf Paus, founder and CEO of ML, featured four guest speakers: Amos Gilhar, Desmond Tobin, Gill Westgate and Francisco Jimenez Acosta, who presented alongside our own scientists and consultants Marta Bertolini, Janin Lehmann, Natasha Botchkareva and Andrei Mardaryev.
The presentations focused on fundamental and new scientific concepts and challenges of hair biology, and speakers particularly emphasized on its relevance within the cosmetic, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry. They also covered the fascinating range of models to study the physiology and pathology of human hair follicles.
We would like to thank our fantastic participants for engaging in stimulating discussions, and we hope to see more of you in our future courses, so keep an eye out for our 2nd Hair Course in September 2020, as well as a new ML Training Course on “Skin Inflammation & Inflammatory Skin Disease ” coming June 2020.
